VA National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP)

If you want to spend your life serving the public good, consider a satisfying career as a federal employee. Join students from a wide variety of backgrounds, exploring potential careers with the U.S. federal government. You'll get insight into working for the federal government, gain valuable professional experience, and build a network of fellow public servants. HN Consulting has partnered with the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) to build an inclusive workforce by attracting a pipeline of highly qualified and diverse candidates through the National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP). Students that participate in this program are provided with roundtrip airfare to and from their internship site city, housing (if needed), a competitive stipend, and are able to participate in career development webinars.
Application and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled on a full- or part-time basis in a degree-seeking/certificate-seeking program at an accredited post-secondary institution in good standing at the time the application is submitted
- Majoring in Business, Management, Marketing, Statistics, Geographic Information Science, Health, or Education
- Resume (1-3 pages)
- Transcript/Grade Record/Report
- One Letter of Recommendation (from a department chair, professor, or academic advisor)
